Position:	CEQA/NEPA Project Manager/Environmental Planner
Location:	San Jose, California

The focus of our work is the overall research, coordination, and written preparation of environmental documents in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

David J. The CEQA/NEPA Project Manager/Environmental Planner will manage and write the environmental review for a variety of complex development and infrastructure projects, such as: residential, commercial and industrial projects; highway widenings and interchanges; water and sanitary systems; urban redevelopment and revitalization; zonings; master plans; and General Plan Amendments. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with clients and agency staffs, gathering and compiling project and site information, managing subconsultants, and preparing environmental reports to comply with CEQA and NEPA. The Project Manager is also responsible for proposal preparation, maintaining budgets and meeting deadlines. Must be able to prepare complex technical sections and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Experience:
5 years managing and preparing CEQA/NEPA documents. Must have excellent organizational, analytical and writing skills. Strong working knowledge of substantive and procedural requirements of CEQA is essential. Must be able to direct others work, interpret and convey quantitative results, and think critically.
